Technological Ecosystem We will form 4 – 5 technology focused microclusters in Otaniemi with following characteristics in each. World class research in Otaniemi, min 5 research teams. A and B classified product focused startups, min 15 startups. 1 to 2 anchor companies to head the microcluster, the created Open Innovation platform. If no anchor company can be found, this will become an FDI case for GHP, OM and IIF (ie. case Nanomat). The Microclusters will function in the longterm. 760 k€ budget for 2008-2009 (Espoo, TKK, VTT, GHP, OM).
